The Knot
About the designer. Michael Chou is an aerospace engineer and the founder of Midnight Kitchen Tools. He designed the Midnight Scoop after concluding that conventional scoops load the wrist, the weakest joint in the motion, rather than the arm. Every Midnight tool since has used the same push-forward principle.
The company is based in South Lyon, Michigan. All tools are made from 100% stainless steel, are dishwasher safe, and carry a lifetime guarantee.
